Hello. I’m Emily Millar, a British painter inspired by light and nature.

I work in both oils and watercolours, painting en plein air (on location) wherever possible. Always inspired by a moment of magical light, my work varies from seascapes to landscapes to still life. I enjoy using a fresh colour palette and lively brushstrokes. 

You can find my work in the permanent collections at Blue Frame Gallery in Barcelona, Nadia Waterfield Fine Art in Hampshire, and Yarmouth Gallery on the Isle of Wight. I am also a returning exhibitor at the annual Art for Youth exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London.

Originally from Hampshire in the UK, I have a great affinity with the Mediterranean and warmer climes, having lived for a number of years in Spain, Australia and France.

Since beginning my painting career, I have spent time learning under Piotr Perski, Ricardo Llopico, and Maria Rose.
